A benefit show for Haitian earthquake victims, sponsored by Midnight Insanity, the World Mind Network, and LAVA, will be held at the Warner Grand Theater on March 14, 2010 at 6 p.m. Ten local comedians will perform, including regulars from Second City and the Comedy Store. A choir from the Apostolic Church of God, the only Haitian church in Los Angeles, will perform the Haitian national anthem. Short films from students from the Cine Institute of Jacmel, the only film school in Haiti (which was largely destroyed by the quake) will be seen.
