Carlton Davis on the Art Dock at the LAVA Sunday Salon August 2013

On the last Sunday of each month , LAVA welcomes interested individuals to gather in downtown Los Angeles (noon-2pm), for a loosely structured conversational Salon featuring short presentations and opportunities to meet and connect with one another.

At the August 2013 Salon, Carlton Davis spoke about his  seminal 1980s micro gallery The Art Dock, located on a loading dock of the endangered 1888 Pickle Works Building, and the rise of downtown LA’s Arts District in the 1980s.  For more about the August Salon, click here.
