From the Sunset Strip to Venice Beach, the Gamble House to Tiny Naylor\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s, from fanciful proto-<span class=\"caps\">GPS<\/span> systems named \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Baede-kar\u00e2\u20ac\u009d to Vernon to fiberglass fabrication shops of South La Cienega, this snapshot of 1972 Los Angeles remains piercing and highly relevant today.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"caps\">LAVA<\/span> co-founder Richard Schave, a student of Banham\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s at UC Santa Cruz in the mid-1980s and host of Esotouric\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s series of Banham-inspired <a href=\"http:\/\/esotouric.com\/californiaculture\" target=\"_blank\">California Culture<\/a> bus tours of Los Angeles, will introduce the film.<\/p>\n<p>The screening will occur at dusk and outdoors just outside the Watts Towers complex.
